- Royal Chace Hotel development – the hotel and site have been sold to Signature Homes, who propose to replace the existing buildings with a 102-bed three-storey care home and 60 homes, including some affordable, in two blocks [one four-storey] and houses. They are in the process of a virtual consultation and are soliciting comments. The site itself is not Green Belt but it sits right on the edge of the Green Belt in quite a prominent position and some local residents have expressed concern about the density and design. Take a look and send along your opinions. http://signatureroyalchace.co.uk/
- Botany Bay Farm Biomass Waste Site The comment period on this one closed on July 26 and not many people were notified, so just FYI the Farm is subletting to a ‘Green Waste’ Company and have applied for Planning for a permanent Bio/Green waste Plant. There is concern among local residents about smells and flies. The planning reference is 20/01885/FUL.
